Many thanks, Judy. Stefan Oertel, another reader on this list, just told
me that the 0.5% glyoxal will do as a preservative but may not be terribly
effective as a fungicide. I ll continue adding a little bit of dichromate
to Cy-A (or B? ;-) -- that definitely does stop fungus growth. For gum I
ll try 1% glyoxal. Sorry, the bit about VDB sensitizer was just a slip.
