Hi List,
some remarks: i have tested quite a lot of different papers for cyanotype. The
best was indeed, as Andre mentioned, Arches Aquarelle. All (!) other papers have
shown quite a lot of fading (dark blue washing water). The Arches paper shows NO
fading at all (only in strong acidified washing bath for contrast correction). I'm
using both the satin and the fine surfaced paper.
!!! Arches papers are only sized on one side!!! This sure will explain the
different results. Normally, Arches paper have a watermark somewhere. The sized
side is the one, where the watermark is readable.
