Dear Mr Reed I am sorry about all this mess. I think the turn over time is very good. The problem was not this . 1 I only received one email from Silverprint saying the fax was NG. I than sent you a email giving the information at once. I did not recive a reply. I had sent info that I do not like to send by email. 2 I did not know a thing about the size of your store or how email and orders are handeld buy your store. 3 Your site under orders state the minion order is 25 pounds this is not $ 150.00 if it is higher for overseas it should be in stated in the site. Again I am sorry for my end of this mess. You have my apology. I hope you will try to understand my problem. I deal with a lot of small supplier .and this is the first time I have had this problem Your book Spirits of Salts is a very good book. James C Romeo

Hi, just a little information for you. Silverprint is a very small company,
employing 6-8 people, 2 are part time. E-mails are normally checked by one
person who will look at them about 3 days a week. Most of our business is
professional supplies to the London area, and we are pretty busy with this,
so we are not constantly scanning for new e-mails, most of which are a
waste of time anyway. Your order came in Friday, and today (Wednesday) is
on its way to you by air mail, which I think is a reasonable turnaround for
an order of this type. We usually stipulate minimum $150 for foreign
orders, so yours sort of slipped through. Posting your semi-hysterical
series of e-mails on the photo-alt list as you did seems quite
inappropriate to the situation. By this aggressive act you may have done
harm to a specialist dealer, who while not being geared up to the internet
shopping mall level you see as desirable, nevertheless is doing more for
alternative photographers than anybody on your side of the pond. If you now
post this on the photo-alt list please do not edit it.
