A mordancage *kit* seems a bit much -- formulas are in the alt-photo
archives (as well as old books -- look under "etch bleach"). The
ingredients consist of copper sulfate (don't bother with the copper
chloride -- many times more expensive & no better), costing about $7 for a
pound (a lifetime supply), and a bottle of peroxide from the drug store --
59 cents. They may tell you to get the heavy-duty or near-bomb-grade
peroxide. That also is overkill.
