Nick, If it doesn't smell a bit like chlorine, you may have some bad
chemicals.
I would ask for a return of what you have and get a new batch. You should see a
marked change in contrast, even without any platinum in it with that amount of
pot chlorate.

10 grams ( 10g) you did get 10 grams not 10 milligrams? or am I forgetting
my abbreviations?
