I use amberlith instead of rubylith because I did find a slight fogging in the masked sections when using rubylith. It probably makes no noticeable difference when just masking borders, but it had a similar effect to flashing when printing another neg over that masked area (dropping contrast, adding exposure). I'd try some tests with both materials before buying a large quantity of either. Gwen Walstrand
