I've often wondered about interpolation in the Epson
printers with images which are not at the native resolution.
I'm curious why you are 'calibrating' at an intermediate
step (positive on paper). Seems like the 'proof of the
pudding' would be looking at the final print from a negative
and that changes between these two stages could
significantly affect your evaluations
