The solution below is a good one. If you only need pictures of your
platinum prints for web publishing (or any other purpose requiring modest
resolution), a digital camera can also be used to re-photograph the print.

The problem with scanning the textured papers on which many hand-coated
prints are made is that the flatbed light source often illuminates the
paper surface very obliquely, accentuating the texture objectionably. If
you shoot the print with a digital camera, you can light it any way you
like it so it should look as good as it does on the gallery wall!
