Well, I guess my past behavior precludes me from taking offense from this
dismissal of my contributions, no matter that they were offered in complete
earnestness and intended to be read and considered seriously. While the
discussion was off-topic, it was certainly no more OT than many other
wanderings.

I would hope that any thinking person that actually read through these past
postings will realize that it was not my criticisms of Mapplethorpe that
were offensive, but rather the homophobic responses that were casually
offered by other list members.

I apologize for any past and current indiscretions, doubly so if it will
assure my inclusion in the Quaalude distribution program!
