I think what Rod was driving at
was that your example given
on the website was flawed.

Your original image wasn't
transformed into fine art
because of the presentation
or the various edge treatments.

What made it fine art was the
drive to visualize the image,
the creation of that visualization
and the message the image conveyed.

I do agree, your experiment was
successful in getting a response...
but you have to admit,
"What is art" is a topic
that will ALWAYS get a response.
(Right up there with sex and religion!)
