FYI: Eastman offers Technical Pan Glass Plate in several sizes, as well
as a wide variety of other emulsions. Glass plates are still a part of
their product lineup. Incidentally, glass plates offer many advantages
over film. They are very flat.
I have used glass for years and still do to this day.
