I got a chance to see these same photographs in a Soho gallery a few years
ago
when Gere exhibited some of them. I did like the images very much--mostly
the
way he chose to photograph the subject matter and present them, more than I
admired the actual printing (which is platinum/palladium), but no one at the
gallery could tell me anything about the printing. There was no
acknowledgement to anyone concerning the printing, either. The assumption
at
the gallery was that Gere did them himself, which I somehow find hard to
believe. But..maybe. Unfortunately, he wasn't there, so I couldn't ask
him...
