Hi:
We use a lot of polaroid pos/neg and EM film with our electron
microscopes. We have a set of plastic racks that are used to proces and
dry EM film and also use these to dry polaroid negs. I've never
noticed any marks on negs dried with these.
The racks have a bottom and four sides. One two of the parallel sides the
plastic is notched about 1 cm apart. Each sheet of film sits in a pair of
notches. The spacing of the rack is such that the film is bent slightly
so that it stays in the notch. The bottom a two wide piece that prevents
the film from sliding out of the notches.
This lets the film dry with only the edges of the film touching the rack.
