I do NOT stand by that number -- this was a day FULL of numbers in a gamut
of unlikely venues, from income tax to megabytes, and the vicissitudes of
alignment code. I do know the *effect* of the number when cited was such
as to make clear why no mold was made.
But you never know what things will cost -- take Ronald Reagan's
daughter's riff on estimate for repairs to White House (Sunday or Monday
NY Times). Very amusing. (Maybe they should send it to Taiwan?)
