Trying to figure this out, it occurs to me that you may have done your own
wiring, with ballast and bulbs assembled from scratch, so to speak. In
which case, I understand, you have to "ground." But if one uses readymade
fluorescent fixture, presumably it's already grounded..... ????????
Also, when you say "piece of foil," do you mean the kitchen kind? You
just laid it in there without wrapping it around anything? How big?
