Why does Cyanotype sound scary? The most dangerous part that I have been
able to find is some of the toners used, Lead Acetate for example. It moves
through Latex gloves and then into the skin. THEN one gets lead poisoning.

Ask Judy for a copy of the PF that has a LOT of Cyanotype material.

thanks for that ken,

have had a little dig around looking at cyanotype stuff and it does seem
like it could be the right thing. my only question is regarding the health
and safety issues with the chemistry (no mention in the selection i've
looked at). Not being very alt-processy (right now) I dont know how much
respect the chemicals for the formula require, and cyanotype does sound a
little scary.

benedict

Maybe the name just reminds people too much of Cyanide gas. Of course,
there is no cyanide in a Cyanotype. The name refers to the blue image
color.
