Did I hear correctly on this evening’s news that the postal service is
sending several van of mail for a test irradiation? I assume it is gamma
irradiation such as is use in food processing. If they adopt such devices,
the days of mailing unexposed or undeveloped film are over. I have not
heard what UPS, Fed Ex, etc are thinking of doing. This could become a
serious problem. Comments?
