Hey . . I actually have a technical query.
For my color class, it is a nice thing to show b/w trannies shot w/the R,G
& B filters and re-filter them through projectors to create a color image on
screen.
So, yesterday, deciding to do a quickie demo of reversal processing I used
T-Max shot @ 2, 4 & 800 ISO. To make the demo speed right up, I thought,
"Hey, use paper developer." So I diluted it about 50% more than normal and
developed for 5 minutes, washed, bleached in the standard Pot.
Permanganate/Sulfuric-acid bleach, cleared in Sod. Sulfite and re-developed
w/Sodium Sulfide.
The backing . . I assume that hard-to-wash-out pinkish stain on T-Max
films that i believe has something to do with T-grains and anti-halation,
did not disappear nor dissipate and I was left w/a positive image on this
opaque yellow-orange background. I couldn't even bleach that out.
Any ideas of what may have occurred.?
