Sandy,
 Ferric Ammonium Sulfate is NOT the same as Ferrous Ammonium Sulfate.
 Ferric is Iron (III) or Fe+3
 Ferrous is Iron (II) or Fe+2

Reactivities are different. They better be, or Pd/Pt printing wouldn't
work!!
