Actually, Cyanine/Chinoline red (Lippmann), Erythrosine/Cyanine (Valenta),
Isocol/Erythrosine/Pinacyanol (Ives) appear to have been used for spectral
sensitization of Lippmann photographs..

Regarding Chlorophyll, Neuhauss writes in his journal he had inserted mashed
ivy leaves in alcohol. After a couple of hours, he filtered the solution. He
also points out Chlorophyll lowered sensitivity in the violet and blue part
of the spectrum.
