Perhaps I missed something... to what colors what did
you say Chlorophyll sensitized?

About the desensitization...Yes, this is typical of
spectral sensitizers... they do usually decrease the
intrinsic speed.

(An inapproprpriate analogy perhaps, but the AgX
crystals are clothed in color... like a sun-bather,
wearing a t-shirt... you get less of a tan that way)
