The Image Print 5 RIP has been reported by Mike Kravitz, to provide very
superior inkjet negatives for alternative prints when used with an Epson 10000
or a 1280. However he has also written that these negatives are not as good as
enlarged negatives for platinum/palladium printing, so you may want to ask him
what the status of his latest tests are with the new Ultrachrome inks and the
2200 ( I think he was testing this combination ).
Of course the RIP for a 1280 is another $495.
So Judy, just spend a little more money and all of your problems will be
solved.
