How to reduce stain in pyro negatives>?

Does anyone know of a good formula that will slightly reduce the
stain in pyro stained negatives and leave the silver image untouched?
I know this question has been answered before on the list but I can
not locate the reference.

BTW, know that I am posting this message on behalf of someone else. I
make only perfect negatives and would of course have no need for such
a remedy!!
