I have made one negative - for another photographer using the plugin. No
crazy banding. However, as I said, the plugin is almost history now, and
Cone are going over to using icc profiles, available shortly.
You do get a different dither pattern with the plugin, in some respects
better than the Epson one - slightly sharper, but with a weave-like effect
when looked at with a loupe. The plugin does requires a better adjusted
printer than the Epson driver, so you may be unlucky in that respect. If
you hang on a few weeks, I think the new icc profiles will be available,
giving really easy results in Photoshop - no curve adjustments needed.
