Well, AFAIK sex isn't criminal either, but Clinton got impeached for lying
about it. Which is to say "crime" is often in the eye of the beholder and
in the eye of these beholders, Martha is/was an Uppity Woman. A lotta
famous people, especially in government positions, tell worse lies, but
being of the male persuasion get away with a tap on the wrist. (Most
recently the failed nominee for homeland security comes to mind, but more
get off than not.)
