I'll answer this to the list in case others have the same questions:

Photo Techniques is the new name for what was "Darkroom and Creative Camera
Techniques". It's now the only photo magazine I subscribe to (and
I keep all back issues!) because its "experts" generally are -- plus
David Vestal!

I'll add that I *don't* mourn Camera & Darkroom -- in fact had let my
subscription lapse. Too many articles seemed written by beginners,
leaving you with a net deficit of information. The photos had gotten
pretty awful too. (Was I the only one embarrassed for Cornell Capa in that
elaborate "portrait" essay?) Whether flashier new format will spoil Photo
Techniques, remains to be seen, but it's

Photo Techniques, PO Box 585, Mt. Morris, IL 61054-7686 USA

one year (6 issues) is $18.95, plus $5 outside US. 2 years are $34.95
plus $10 outside US and 3 years $50.95 plus $15.

Payment in US Funds, US Bank only.

Phone is 708/965-0566, FAX is 708/965-7639.

I understood that they were getting an e-mail address, but I don't see
anything in the masthead of this issue.

PS. "View Camera" is also popular, and has attractive photos, but its
how-to tends to be sketchy at best, and basic info (such as mentioning the
medium of photos displayed simply as "alternative process") woefully lacking.
