I'll second that.  Quick select (or whatever it's called) is by far the
smartest selection tool I've seen.  It does a great job identifying
shapes...just click and drag.

And let's not forget about Smart Filters!  It's great to be able to apply
layer masks to filters (albeit not much more than a novelty)...
