Hi, we have noticed that the 3800 inks block UV-light way better than the 1800. Actually, we think it's hard to use 1800 in any processes but, say, silver gelatin, liquid emulsion, traditional cyanotype, and such, where very contrasty negative is not needeed. You can try to increase the ink density in the printer driver though...
