Henk, sometimes I'm not as smart as you think I am (thank you!) That is, 
it isn't clear to me exactly what this fellow did.  Do you mean he 
preshrank twice in cold water and didn't re-size? If so, did he add a size 
*before* those soaks?  Were they two preshrinks in a row, or was there a 
gum coat and development between them?

In any event, I'm going to check the last couple of P-F's right now, to 
see what details I recorded at the time...
