I am working on cyanotypes right now, so I need the contrast and full
tonal qualities on one nevgative.<

Developers intended for negatives for silver gelatine develop out printing
will not, generally, give the best results, of these developers HC110
will give about as good as one can get but try a good universal or paper
developer instead. I use Ilford Universal developer although the Multigrade
also works well. Try your first tests at 1 : 9. but you may have to
increase the strength.

You will need to ensure that you get the right combination of exposure and
development times.to achieve a density range of around 1.4 for cyanotype.
On FP4 the development time for that density should be about two minutes
with the film overexposed by about two stops in relation to the exposure
required for normal silver gelatine printing.
