Anyone who does not have virus protection software running on their
computer, after the incident we had a few weeks back with the Worm is a
complete and total IDIOT...

I would suggest a now policy.,.. If someone posts a virus to the list
AND they do not have virus software installed on their machine that is
up-to-date within reason...

That:

1) Anyone suffering damage from the posted virus sue the sender
based on a theory of complete and total negligence, if not recklessness.

2) Anyone posting e-mail containing a virus under such circumstances
be IMMEDIATELY barred from posting to the list for an automatic period
of 6 months (they will retain a read-only status).. At the end of that
period, if they demonstrate to the list owner that they have since taken
appropriate steps to redress their formerly inadequate setup they, then,
and only then, be allowed to post..

This is only the beginning of this kind of stuff folks, as I tried to
make apparent before...

Let's deal with it now...
