You should try to process ASAP. Several months is most likely OK, but it
occurs to me that until you determine what the "problem" is, or if you
really have a problem, you should not continue photographing. Seems to me
that you would just be adding  to your stock of unprocessed material.
Take a weekend and test these theories out.
