Greetings all—
I am in fairly desperate travail over a new problem with my Epson 3000. If
any of you out there have experienced something similar, I would appreciate
any info you can provide.
Here are the symptoms:
I switched out cartridges with a thorough flushing in between—something I’ve
done numerous times. This time, however, when I started her back up, all the
panel lights came on (flashing, with the exception of the Ink Out lights,
which remained constant). Several repetitions of off/on (including pulling
the power chord for a lengthy interval) had the same results. If I hold down
the Pause button for 5 seconds, all the lights go off except the Operate
light which blinks, but with no action in the printer—AND if I attempt to
turn it off, I can’t. Even with the switch disengaged, the light continues
to flash.
I called Epson, of course. The recommended the reset sequence, which has no
affect whatsoever.
Have any of you ever experienced this behavior from an Epson 3000? Any
suggestions?
I would be most appreciative of any help.
