According to "the literature" two criteria in storing unexposed silver
gelatin material are: temperature (should be cool as possible) and change
of temperature (should be as little as possible). Probably cellar is
better on both counts -- unless attic exceptionally well insulated -- that
is if these factors affect exposed material as they do unexposed. My
guess is they would.
