My apologies for taking so long but I have finally updated my site with
new information for making digital negatives with the Epson 2200. You
will find new Photoshop curves and printer settings by going to the
following and clicking the New Info button:

http://www.danburkholder.com/Pages/main_pages/book_info_main_page1.htm

For platinum/palladium, you'll find info on using Pictorico OHP
transparency material.

For silver gelatin printers, you use Pictorico Photo Gallery Hi-Gloss
White Film (whew, that's a mouthful). This is a white plastic material
that is better for silver negs.

Note that the printer settings screen shots are for Mac OSX. Your print
dialog boxes will look different if you are using an older operating
system on a Mac or (heaven forbid) another computer platform. Please
don't write and ask me how or where you find the equivalent settings.
Trust me,they will be there someone in your print dialog box. ;^)

The 2200 is turning out to be a terrific negative-maker. I've used it at
both Santa Fe Workshops and Photographers' Formulary and the students
made exhibition quality prints in record time.

In August I will be releasing The Inkjet Negative Companion, a
downloadable supplement to Making Digital Negatives for Contact Printing.
This addendum will include neat Photoshop templates that semi-automate
desktop negative creation. There will be a paltry, petite, petty,
picayune, piddling, pint-sized fee for this download. Naturally, the
curves and printer settings will always be free on my site.

Hope this helps and that Jill and I get to see lots of you APIS folks in
Santa Fe!
