inks with a density of about 4.0 D is made for printing films for printing machines (mostly large format) and negs for photomechanically made silk screens. And yes, itīs an industrial product.

If you want to play around with one of the methods for printing digital negatives the most important thing is to set the printer driver in a dumb mode to make the printer a simple ink drop putting machine. I dare to say this even if I use my own digital neg procedure and donīt now any of the commercial ones by practical work. But to eliminate all black boxes that could do something unforeseen in a calibration workflow is the basic rule for calibration.
